Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange1.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, but an additional outside box will be acceptable (and extremely suggested), but you must include the undamaged, branded box(es) the item(s) came in.

License(s) to all software – you own all license(s) to the software not Retro Game Box (RGB)
To complete your return or refund
After receiving the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number2, print out two (2) copies and include a copy of your receipt:
- Place one (1) printed copy of the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number2 and a copy of your receipt inside the box.
- Wrap the item(s) with bubble wrap and/or other shipping material
- Place the cushioned item(s) inside of the shipping box – this includes all accessories and manuals/paperwork we originally sent you.
- Securely and properly tape the box shut
- Print the Return label to ship us the item(s)
- Place the printed RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number2 somewhere on the outside of the package – preferably printed on the shipping label. Example: RMA # XXXXXXXXXX
- Tape the box securely, drop off package to be shipped
– We suggest shipping the Retro Game Box with both tracking and insurance3
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- License fees – these will be deducted from your total refund amount. You own the license(s) to the software provided, and as such these cannot be returned for a refund as the money originally provided was used to purchase the license(s) from another company or companies.
- Item(s) with obvious signs of use or abuse.
- Original shipping fees – these will be deducted from your total refund amount.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
There are certain situations where no refunds will be granted:
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery1
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- RMA instructions were not followed – No RMA number posted on outside of box, as well as included inside of the box.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund as well as how much your refund will be worth. Upon your acceptance, we will process the refund. If you decline the refund, you can pay to have the item(s) re-shipped back to you.
If you are approved, and accept the refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within five (5) business days. The five (5) business days is only our processing time, your bank/payment processor may have their own processing time.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank/payment processor account again.
If you’ve done this step, and if it has been fifteen (15) business days after we approved your refund, and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items
Item(s) purchased at sale prices can be refunded within 30 days, provided the qualifications within this document are met, but the initial amount you can be refunded starts at the sale price on your receipt that you paid and not the retail price, or other sale price.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged4 and deemed defective by our fault. If after our initial troubleshooting, we determine the unit cannot be repaired without sending the item(s) back to us, you can exchange it, provided your item(s) are complete and original boxes are returned, you will receive a credit to your account which you can use to purchase the item(s) you wish. If you decide you would rather have a refund instead, we can provide it to you, if the item is deemed defective by our fault. If you have any questions or would like to start troubleshooting and possibly an exchange/credit to your account or a refund, you can contact us and send your item to: Our shipping and warehouse location. Detailed instructions will be provided on our reply to your initial return request.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, billed by someone else, and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Our shipping and warehouse location. Detailed instructions will be provided on our reply to your initial refund request. All returns must have an RMA# that we provide you. Items returned without an RMA# will not be replaced under warranty, repaired, refunded for the purchase, or even returned to you. We will accept all items shipped to us, but if no RMA# is included, we will keep the item(s) without replacing under warranty, repairing, refunding any of the purchase price, or returning it to you. Please verify multiple times, and/or have multiple people verify it to, that you have included the RMA# we provide you on the returned item in the locations as instructed.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any deductions listed above will be deducted from your refund. If you choose to no longer accept the refund, you will need to pay the shipping fee for us to return your item(s)
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning item(s), you may consider using a trackable shipping service and possibly purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
